From Venice we caught a ferry across to Rovinj in Croatia. It was absolutely gorgeous. We splashed out and stayed in a nice hotel on the island of St Andrea just off the coast of the old town of Rovinj. Rovinj was at one stage under Italian rule so it was essentially Italy across the sea. We spent 3 days relaxing in the sun and enjoying yet again more pizza, pasta and gelati as well as some seafood.
